Great everyday pub food at reasonable prices, very accommodating for children and willing to prepare off menu items for the fussy ones! Good real ales too - perfect after a days sailing.

Places to Eat

We only recommend places we’ve eaten in or someone we know has recommended and we are leaving out Michelin starred places as they already have enough publicity.

Bandol Sur Mer Torstraße 167  10115 Berlin, Germany 00 49 30 76302052. This restaurant is so good we have been back 5 times. the menu is new everyday, this should have a Michelin thingy the food is as good as any starred resturant we’ve eaten at and the service is excellent the staff know about the food and they are good at matching some unusual wine to go with it. It’s not cheap and they only take cash. You will need to make a reservation. Wunderbar!

The Market Coffee House SPITALFIELDS London

If you fancy a little Dickensian dinning then this is  good watering hole, near Liverpool Street Station in the city, for unpretentious good wholesome fare - Jules rather likes the Guinea Fowl when it’s on the menu.

They serve a good cup of coffee too but have to say the cake selection wasn’t  over exciting
