Coffee Shops
Fed up with well known high street coffee chains Jules Jam and the Man having had the arduous task of testing independent coffee shops. It’s not just about great coffee but the whole look and feel - some where relaxed cosy and good for a catch up or doing some work...
Mozzino (Broadwick street London) situated in the heart of shopping land just off Carnaby street in london. styled as a 1950’s motorbike repair shop it’s quite small but excellent coffee fruity and well made, the best cake I have had in a coffee shops for some time homemade by two local ladies - you must try the orange drizzle cakes
Colonna & Small’s (6 Chapel row bath) Extraordinary is the best adjective for this coffee shop. with wine like descriptions of each coffee variety available (changes frequently) the staff know coffee as well as the MAN knows his burgundy. lovely light and airy building with plenty of space. some amazing preparation techniques too! the cake selection is not the best we’ve had but with coffee this good who needs a cake?
